When you’re looking for a heating oil delivery company, one of the most important things you want is dependability. You want to feel assured you’ll be able to get a heating oil delivery when you need it. That kind of reliability is what you get as a Westmore Fuel customer. We never leave our customers in the cold!
These include:
We also offer 24/7 emergency heating oil delivery. Our 24/7 emergency service also extends to repairs of heating oil systems.
Westmore Fuel delivers clean-burning B20 Bioheat Plus fuel, which is a blend of 20% biodiesel with 80% ultra-low sulfur heating oil. Our Bioheat Plus fuel is rack injected at our marine storage terminal.
Bioheat Plus fuel dramatically reduces emissions of particulate matter, sulfur dioxide and carbon dioxide. Its growing use will eliminate thousands of metric tons of carbon dioxide each year in Connecticut and New York. It is also a great way to decrease our country’s dependence on foreign oil since Bioheat fuel is made in America.
We make it easy to arrange how you pay for your fuel, with plenty of options so you can find a plan that’s right for you. We think it’s important to give you varied options. Our payment plans include EvenPay, which evens out your fuel payments for as many as 11 months. Many EvenPay customers also choose AutoPay, which lets you pay your bill automatically from your bank account or via credit card.
In terms of pricing, you can choose between our competitive daily market rate, our Capped Oil Price contract, or our Fixed Price contract.
People who have oil heating equipment that’s 20 years or older may be considering switching to natural gas to heat their home because they think this could save them a lot of money on heating expenses.
What they don’t realize is that the upfront cost to convert to a natural gas system can typically be thousands of dollars. And it really doesn’t make sense to switch to a less efficient fuel like natural gas when clean-burning Bioheat Plus fuel—and Westmore—can keep you warm even on the coldest of nights.
It’s disturbing that many state governments—including New York and Connecticut—are rushing ahead on an “electrify everything” path to reduce carbon emissions. This includes giving people incentives to give up their existing heating oil systems and convert their heating equipment to electric heat pumps.
But heat pump conversions are expensive and do not work very efficiently when the weather gets cold. Plus, electricity is not a clean fuel. Electricity production generates the second-largest share of greenhouse gas emissions.
New York State has an ambitious goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions—40% fewer by 2030. That’s one reason the state encourages the use of clean-burning B20 Bioheat Plus fuel, providing a 20-cents-per-gallon tax credit on your state income taxes.
We have a dedicated staff of caring employees who are always ready to help you. They live in the communities they love to serve, and they understand the needs you have. Their knowledge and commitment help us to deliver not only Bioheat Plus fuel, but quality and value—all backed by many decades of heating oil experience.
